For the past eight years, Sophie has been using her eye for detail to scrutinize the visual identities of multi-national companies in every category, from telecoms to personal care, food and beverages and luxury brands. Sophie uses future insight to allow Pearlfisher to look beyond today to see the possibilities so that we can design for the future. The inaugural TEDxEcoleHôtelièreLausanne event took place on 16 January 2012 on EHL's campus, featuring a wide variety of speakers offering much food for thought and many enriching ideas for the hospitality sector. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations).
