I arranged and composed the song such a way that it is meant to be cheerful and upbeat. [成长] My talented friend Desmond has being learning guitar and other instruments for every long time, and it my honor to have him to perform my song composition 成长. If we translate the meaning of 成长 in English, it means growing up. This song was actually one of the oldest originals that I've composed. Together, Desmond and his student Juliette joined to performed this song. (Song re-arranged by Desmond) [写给妈妈的信] 写给妈妈的信 is one of my latest song composition written during this year. The lyrics is written by my friend Long Hao, and this song is about a daughter who has grown up, feeling thankful for her mother's love. [你] Also, another song called 你, which is "you", is song that I composed and arranged two years ago. The lyric of this song is written by Zhi Yuan, and it is about a female falling in a love with a guy. Shiyun is the singer for 写给妈妈的信 (Re-arranged by Desmond) and 你 together with Desmond. [麻将] The instrumental titled 麻将 is influenced by chinese style of music. I wrote and arranged this song three years ago, and I performed it using erhu. [我喜欢新加坡] For the last song, Celyn and Ryan sang the song 我喜欢新加坡. During last year, we met up and decided to shoot a music video for Singapore during the national day period. We hope to use music to show our love for Singapore. So, I went back to compose and arrange the track, and the three of us including our another friend Jaze went along to discuss and produce this project.
