自作の英語の演歌です。An original English enka song.

演歌風に作曲し英語の歌詞をつけた歌を作りました。つまり、英語の演歌、、、のつもりです（汗）。歌や演奏、編曲、録音などはあまり上手くなくて自信作にはならなかったけど、まあまあ出来ました。

残念ながら北新地の写真はなかったので、そのかわり手元にあった新宿、品川シーサイド、お台場など東京周辺の名所の写真を使いました。

とりあえず、下記の歌詞の下手な和訳を参考にどうぞ。もっと相応しい表現を思いつくことがあるだろうから時々編集するつもりです。

大阪を照らす月が昇って
月光が案内してくれる
北新地へ

赤提灯と入り口のれんが
中へ暖かく迎えて
ぶらぶら歩いて、ここへ来た理由はなぜか
あの子を探しまくる

心の底で泣いているこの気持ちを
どうにかなくしてくれよ

もう会えないその切なさ
あの子が去った

大阪の冷たい風が
北新地の裏通りに吹き通って

ひとつの空席だけでも探すのに
古くて黄色く濁った窓を覗く私
夜気を甘くする熱燗の香りが

This is my attempt at composing an enka-styled song with English lyrics. Performance and you-name-it deficiencies aside, it didn't turn out too bad. Unfortunately, I didn't have any photos of Kitashinchi, so instead I used some taken at Shinjuku, Shinagawa Seaside, Odaiba, and other areas around Tokyo.

All sounds, except guitar, are the stock Korg T2 presets run dry. Effects were added with the DAW (n-Track). Audio interface is the m-audio Fast Track Ultra. Though my laptop is under spec for the interface, it does work  properly.
