This starts with the climb from Deer Trail up over to Chutes Trail (not ridgeline). I was on a rented very XC oriented bike with a negative degree stem and flat bars. The bike is a carbon Scott Genius 730 650b rented from The Path Bike Shop in Tustin. It made for easy climbing, but didn't inspire much confidence on the downhills. I would love to have been on my XCL and ridden the Chutes Ridgeline Trail. The endo towards the end was a an unclip-and-run-before-eating-shit kind of endo, so not real carnage. The bush did save me from going into the last little canyon at the bottom.
