1 vs 1 OCTAGON BATTLES

...WITH A TWIST!!!

Below are the rules of an Octagon battle to better understand the formatting, followed by the rules how how No Crash Zone will be formatted...

Rules of The Octagon:

-Breakers must use a set-up of safety cones and caution tape in the shape of an octagon to throw their rounds. Rounds must be thrown inside and outside of the octagon effectively and strategically.

-Creativity and free styling is a plus. Don't limit yourself to just staying in the octagon

-MAIN RULE is that if a cone moves or is knocked over by a breaker throwing down, that person receives an automatic disqualification and LOSES. The opponent essentially advances.

RULES OF NO CRASH ZONE:

-A shaped layout will be decided at the beginning of each battle AT RANDOM (Square, Diamond, Pentagon, Hexagon, and Octagon). That's right, it is not just an octagon.

-To raise the stakes, after the shape is decided, each competitor will then be given an additional cone. They will place that cone anywhere they wish on the dance floor.

-On a lighter note, if any of the cones move by a dancer, they will NOT be disqualified. Instead their round would be declared over. The judges can factor the moved cones into their decision at the end of the battle.

-Just a heads up, the final battle will be 3 rounds. The judges will also receive a cone to place wherever they wish, meaning the last battle will have an extra 5 cones placed around the dance floor.

We are doing straight head-to-head format. There are NO prelims. Anyone and everyone who signs up gets to battle. Win and you move on to the next round.
