In Washington, the rivals in this year's U.S. presidential race recently addressed one of the nation's largest Latino advocacy organizations, the League of United Latin American Citizens, in Washington. The presumptive nominees, Senators John McCain, the Republican, and Barack Obama, the Democrat, courted Latino voters by emphasizing an important issue -- immigration. Political analysts expect the ethnic group to comprise a key voting bloc in the November general election. VOA's Robert Raffaele has more.
