Northern Sullivan County in central New York...
Susquehanna County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
Northern Wayne County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
Bradford County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
Northwestern Wyoming County in northeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 315 PM EST.

* At 220 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line
extending from near Andes to near Ulster, moving southeast at 20
mph.

HAZARD...Poor visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow. Wind
gusts up to 30 mph. A quick inch of snow could fall in
thirty minutes. Accidents have occurred due to this line
of snow squalls.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.

Locations impacted include...
Rockland, Binghamton, Vestal, Johnson City, Endicott, Kirkwood,
Sayre, Conklin, Waverly and Liberty.

This includes the following highway exits...
New York Interstate 81 between 1 and 5.
Interstate 86/Route 17 between 59A and 62, and between 66 and 101.
Pennsylvania Interstate 81 between 211 and 230.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Consider avoiding or delaying travel until the snow squall passes
your location. If you must travel, use extra caution and allow extra
time. Rapid changes in visibility and slick road conditions may lead
to accidents.

Reduce your speed and turn on headlights! During snow squalls, the
visibility may suddenly drop to near zero in whiteout conditions.
