Drone aerial video of the Saint Francis Dam disaster site, shot in San Francisquito Canyon on March 20, 2017. Filmed in full HD with a GoPro Hero4 black, these scenes show the remains of the main dam structure and wing dike after nearly 90 years of decay. This dam collapsed on March 12, 1928 - just before midnight, sending a wall of water over 100 feet high raging down the canyon. The 54-mile downstream path from this site to the pacific ocean marks one of the most deadly disasters in California's history, second only to the San Fransico earthquake of 1906.
