I forced myself into the back of a car for what I thought would only be 4 hours and turned out to be 6, all the way to Southampton where I meet an Italian lawyer, fall in love with the art house, play a little bit of impromptu piano and head to my medical malpractice appointment at Southampton Spire. Even though I only stayed for one night, I would have loved to have done more exploring. I'm proud of myself for overcoming the anxiety I had about this trip.
