For this battle, Zeus and Guo Jia are going around proving how awesome they are to all the ladies. And it actually works out this time. Normally this blows up in the male's face when they try to do a stage like this, but nah, Zeus pulls it off. Must be the whole god thing.

Anyways, for these next 5 stages they really crank up the difficulty. By that I mean there are Hyper Mode officers all over the place so Slay is highly recommended. This is coming from a guy that avoided using Slay for majority of the game, so that should let you know how necessary it is. If not for the next 4 stages, then ABSOLUTELY for the final DLC stage. But I'll cover that when I get to it.

There's also some new DLC Sacred Treasures so I try to show those off. Dainslef can now be replaced with Cocytus, which can teleport like Taijitu with Normal Magic. This is way better though because it's an actual attack, so it's very effective. The Charge Magic does an AoE attack around the user and then gives them a buff to all of their stats. Not a large buff, but hey, it's kind of nice and still does decent damage on the attack too.

Now for the stage, we start off dealing with Koshosho's gang and Lu Bu's army. Lu Bu's army will suffer from infighting as the generics fall for Koshosho's charms. Lingqi and Lu Bu are threats as always, but Koshosho's group, which is her, Motochika, and Gracia, are all gathered together so you'll have to fight them all at once.

Following that, we'll get attacked by the Toyotomi and Wu forces, led by Hideyoshi and Lu Meng. We'll have an objective to go to 4 areas on the map to find and prevent Lu Meng's ambush, which it appears to be randomized where he appears. Then we can circle around the locked gates to go after the rest of Wu and all the Toyotomi officers.

Next, Athena and Ares will appear, in Hyper Mode. Nothing to them, just go defeat them. However, they aren't the end of the stage. Finally we have Odin, who is in Hyper Mode as well. And so are his generics. Be cautious against them, and you'll probably have to take out the Chaos Origin's near him as well since he spawns with a few of them right next to him which will grant all enemies a defense buff against anything that isn't magic.

Also with the recent patch, some changes have been made. All DW characters now activate elements with their EX attacks and there are a few other fixes to movesets. For example, Kotaro's Hyper Attack is now exactly as it was in SW4, so his ridiculous spin kick move that has him spin across the battlefield is now fully functional again. Which is fantastic.
