Experimenting With A Bee Gum

After getting the bee gum settled in on it's new location. I got to thinking "How would I treat these bees" with little work involved. I decided to place a couple boxes on the top of the log. Hoping the bees will move up on there own. Otherwise it will result in cutting out the colony and transferring them to a Langstroth hive. If the queen moves up I can throw on a excluder and keep her above the log contained to the Langstroth boxes.
