Kids and the Digital World: Rewiring for the Future

Steve Youngwood is a senior global executive focused on building and managing businesses at the intersection of media, content and technology. He has broad media experience including Digital, Mobile, TV, Print, Video, Gaming, Consumer Products and Retail, both in the capacity as Business Leader and Board Director. He has managed product sales, advertising, and subscription businesses. Steve has an expansive skill set, including forging strategic partnerships, overseeing content and product development, building high-performance cultures, and motivating people to deliver results. Steve is highly regarded for his relentless drive and disciplined commitment to embrace technology as a disrupter and to innovate in order to drive growth.

Currently, Steve is a Fellow at L2inc, a fast growing, global digital business intelligence company which helps Fortune 500 brands navigate and innovate in the changing landscape and Steve serves on the Board of Leapfrog Enterprises, a public(NYSE) Educational Entertainment Company . He is also advisor to several start-ups. Previously, he served on the Board of Directors of Learning Resources/Hand2Mind, a private Educational Products Company, the Online Publishing Association, an industry trade association, and Common Cents, a Service Learning not-for-profit.

Steve lives in New York City with his wife and 3 kids. He is fluent in English and French (and formerly fluent in German) He is an avid sports fan, reader of biographies, retired marathoner, a Triathlon enthusiast, a newly active Photographer and a great fan of food and wine.
