Nurse #protip: spiking an IV bag

Nurses are always in a rush. Time is not a luxury we have most days, and we definitely can get caught up in the million-and-one things we have going on simultaneously... but what ever you do.. don't get so distracted that you suffer from an IV bag misfire! [not that I've ever done that before....] Be careful not to actually spike through the IV bag inlet.... all of that wonderful fluid inside that IV bag.... yeah... it's going all over the floor, the equipment and anything else in its path (including all over you). Take an extra five minutes to ensure you have things in order before you 'spike' that next IV bag. Oh... and I would highly recommend you follow my warnings about administering blood products. You'll thank me later.
