Mini Mill Belt Drive Conversion - Problem

After installing the belt drive conversion on my mini mill, I can no long use the high speed. Maximum speed in low range is approximately 1680 and should be 1800. When trying to use the high range, the overload will kick in at approximately half way. Can not put any load on the mill when in high range.
