Tee up this season in the new Nike Pivot. SportRx's Sunglass Rob and Rusty talk about this very special line of frames offered with both six-base and eight-base lenses.

The Pivot is a traditional frame modernized with Nike innovation. The metal wraparound frame comes equipped with adjustable nose pads for a comfortable fit. But fitted nose pads are the standard for eyewear. What’s new and distinct about Nike’s new frames is the air pocket temples. These rubberized ends cushion the head for comfort even on long outings.

Yet, the Nike Pivot comes in two styles, 6 and 8. The numbering references the type of lens inside the Pivot. The Pivot 6 hold six-base lenses, which are flatter and able to hold a higher prescription compared to the Pivot 8’s eight-base lenses.

Besides lens Rx-ability, eight-base lenses offer more wrap and coverage. The video has a great side by side comparison of these two amazing frames at 2:11 for those interested.
