The former director of the Kalamazoo Strong organization, Rachel Kaiser, is sentenced to 24 months of probation for using a computer to commit a crime at the Kalamazoo County Courthouse in Kalamazoo, Michigan on Monday, Oct. 15, 2018. Kaiser pleaded guilty in July to an added count of using a computer to commit a crime, a felony, and her embezzlement charge was dropped. Kaiser was accused of stealing more than $4,000 from the Kalamazoo Strong non-profit foundation, a grassroots organization that raised money for the community. The foundation was formed in the wake of the February 2016 Kalamazoo County mass shooting.
