Friday, Sept 21th 2012, I sailed from Fish Creek WI on the Quo Vadis, to Chambers Island, in the middle of the bay of Green Bay. The wind was strong from the South West, and for the first half of the journey, until we came under the lee of Chambers Island, it was rather rough sailing. This video is just part of the trip, there was a lady on board who was giving a talk about the islands in Green Bay, and the birds on those islands. We were all traveling to Chambers Island for the 2nd annual, ESTO VIR retreat at the Holy Name Retreat House, of the Diocese of Green Bay. The Esto Vir retreats are silent retreats where one can forget the normal cares and worries of the day, and re-connect with GOD. Father Eric Nielsen (I do like his last name), from St Paul's church on the campus of the UW-Madison (my Alma Mater) was the retreat master for this weekend.
