This is a photo of my very first homemade indoor bamboo fountain. I was so tempted to just buy a finished indoor fountain on the store, but when I learned it uses battery, I skipped on buying and thought why not try making it. I'd probably be saving some money when I make it myself. So I did. With the bamboo, decorative stones and glass bowl I got from 99 Cents, that cost me $3. The water pump from Ebay cost me $7.59, and the lucky bamboo plant for $1. And the straw I had saved from having a soda, say my total was $11.59. The fun of making it was priceless. :) Here is a hub I wrote on how I made this indoor bamboo fountain, with a story along with it :) http://precyanza.hubpages.com/hub/Homemade-Indoor-Bamboo-Fountain#
