The book tells the story of the reporters that broke the secret Contra operation in Iran. The operation became known as the Iran-Contra Affair. Mr. Parry talked about how similar stories went underreported or unreported by the media during the 1980s. In particular he mentions Nicaraguan cocaine trafficking and the Guatemalan genocide of Mayan Indians. After his remarks, Mr. Parry responded to questions from the audience.
