Most babies are ready to start eating solid food between four and six months of life. Many parents feel like they have to start with something like rice cereal or other single grain cereals. You can actually give those or fruits and veggies. Either way if you are giving your baby single grain cereal you need to mix it with formula, breast milk, or water. Just follow the package instructions. They usually tell you to give a certain amount of liquid with a certain amount of cereal. Breast milk, as you asked, can be the thing that you use to mix with it. If you have any other questions in the future feel free to ask them on our Facebook page at Facebook.com/IntermountainMoms and recommend us to your friends and family too.
