A press release was recently given outside La Vega town hall. KOAA 5 in Denver captured the audio in the last hour. This fire has grown to 25,000 acres as the 416 fire has grown to 41,000 acres. A comment by Karen in the last video stated that Teller County has issued to following statement: "Alert! Alert! Alert! Fire reported in high Château subdivision off County Road 11 at mile marker 9. Sheriff Mikesell has placed the entire high Château subdivision on pre-evacuation alert. Don’t wait, get prepared now!
