The coal mine accident took place in Yuncheng County, east China’s Shandong Province nearly 72 hours ago. The local government has ordered over 40 rock burst-prone mine shafts to be suspended following the incident. The rescue work is underway for the 18 miners trapped in the shaft. A subsequent collapse during the rescue operation slowed down the rescue efforts. Earlier some supplies were sent into the shaft, including disinfectant fluid and stretchers. Are there any survivors in the mine shaft? Join CGTN's Li Jianhua for an update on the story.
