Vieja lives in the streets of the Colonial Zone, Santo Domingo. They call these dogs viralata. When I first saw her I thought she was growling and stayed away. Finally, I realized that she was purring. She sees someone and starts this purr growl thing. She loves a nice pat on the head. Such a sweet old gal. (Sorry it is so dark but it was taken in the early morning)
