The city requested that the client remove the tree, which was on a slope and right next to a stream. They, of course, granted the permit. Normally, it is not acceptable to drop trees into waterways, but, the permit was in hand, so Patrick went for it. The other option would have required a large crane, and easily raised the job cost by 10 times. The trees had been girdled by beavers.
