Author Irvine Welsh discusses the challenges faced when adapting a novel for the screen. After the phenomenal, era-defining success of Trainspotting back in the 1990s, translating Irvine Welsh's writing to the big screen has proved problematic. With the adaptation of Porno, T2 Trainspotting pays tribute to the original film while pushing the plot into the 21st century. http://tiff.net
