On December 13 2008, The Episcopal Church of The Redeemer in Kenmore hosted it's very first in a series of game nights, featuring Guitar Hero, Rock Band 2, Call of Duty 4, Will Sports, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Starcraft, a load of 80s arcade games, several cases of Bawls, pizzas galore, and 40 to 50 participants rocking out on two Xbox 360s, two Nintendo Wiis and three laptops. My brothers and I attended as well and participated in the festivities. This video is a kind of retrospective, from the camera of Smite Fest's coordinator Wade Rockett. A charity was provided for, friendships were made, and a good time was had by all. Here's hoping the rumored round two comes along soon!
