I was asked to finish trapping for spay neuter, the cats roaming a seed farm, right before harvest. Harvest can be a deadly time for cats, with equipment cutting the grass, that can maim or kill a cat. The moving of pallets and seed boxes and bags, all can prove deadly for kittens. When I saw the kittens, I knew I had to save them. But that was not easy. The area is vast. And tiny kittens move quickly amongst machinery, parts, and pallet stacks. I finally netted Sambi atop a seed bag, trapped their mom, Juno, and four days later, only days before harvest began, caught little Kahlua.
