I am always warning my friends when driving around Pacific County to look out for deer and elk . The driver of this car did not see the Elk that hit him . The first indication of the impact was when the windshield shattered . Fortunately he was not injured . This could happen to any of us . The was no way for the driver to avoid this as he did not see the Elk that ran into him . This appeared to be a cow Elk that weighed approx. 400 to 500 lbs.
