Focus test

This is a simple way to test whether the image of a camera is in focus. Cut a hole with a given shape on a piece of paper, and put it in front of the lens. When the image is out of focus, the unfocused blobs will now have the shape of the hole you cut. The shape will only become unnoticeable when the image is focused. Therefore, if you can still see that shape, it's still out of focus.
