Ben Adelson has quickly gone from college student with big aspirations in the Music Business to becoming Sen. Director of A&R for Republic Records. He put himself in great position to be in the Scoring Zone by discovering The Jakes, which later became Young the Giant. Ben started out as the band's manager and shows that If you put your mind to making something happen, it will if you want it badly enough and you take the necessary steps to always be prepared. No one knows when the right opportunity will present itself. As a part of the USC Music Biz Alumni, Renman asks Ben what his advice would be for those aspiring Music Professionals in today's Music Industry. Ben offers some sage words of advice for those who are looking to do something great in the Music Business!
