No one really cares to celebrate national heroes day. As far as this generation is concerned... Heroes belong to the pages of history... To be a hero is to die for one's country... Much like what jose rizal and Andres Bonifacio did. But if we were to redefine the word "hero"... And fit it to our times... Perhaps we will find many among our midst. Being a hero can also mean being a good citizen... Doing your part by carrying out little acts of patriotism... Saving a life during typhoon ondoy... Serving children in Mindanao. That way...
