Tim Vince who organised and Chaired the two hour debate for Revelation TV invited a wide audience to watch the broadcast. He commented, "There are many within the UK Christian community and wider society who felt disenfranchised by the 'Same Sex Marriage' legislation rushed through Parliament this year. This is an opportunity for a leading proponent of the new legislation and a Christian opponent to engage in depth on the implications of the new law'. Sharon Ferguson of the Gay & Lesbian Christian Movement was invited to join the studio guests by phone in the second hour along with Gordon MacDonald of Christian Action Research and Education there were also opportunities for live 'phone-in' contributions from the general public.
