In this part, we collect the remaining items in Brinstar and almost everything in Norfair.. except one Missile Rocket, which I'll come back for after defeating Ridley. These are the items obtained in this part: Missile Rocket #6: You know the green room in Brinstar with the green scenery that had the lone Waver? Well, enter the next room, then just continue from there to sooner or later encounter the Missile Rocket. Energy Tank #5: From where you got the Missile Rocket, enter the next room, and you will be blocked by a wall. Jump up to find a hidden passage to go through the wall, then use the Maru Mari's Bomb jump technique to reach the hidden gap, which will take you to the Energy Tank. Missile Rocket #7: As soon as you enter Norfair, take the door on the left. Avoid the obstacles all the way to the Missile Rocket, sitting on a column. The Missile Rocket I missed is really close to this one. I'll get it in the next part when exiting Norfair. Missile Rocket #8 and #9: This time, take the door to the right, then keep on moving until you reach another verticle shaft. Go down, and enter the door on the left. Be careful with the blocks here, and make your way to the wall on the left. Use the Maru Mari Bomb jump technique to get into a hidden gap in the wall, then roll your way to the two Missile Rockets, which are sitting on columns. High Jump: Another really useful Power Item. From where you got the previous two Missile Rockets, go on the floor, then bomb the semi-final block on the right to find a hidden passage. Keep bombing the blocks, then go down until you find a door on the left. Enter it, make your way to the left, use five Missile to destroy the red door, then shoot the ball for the High Jump. As the name implies, this item allows Samus to jump really high. It will be very useful later on, in which there are quite a few tricky jumps. Screw Attack: From where you got the High Jump, bomb the floor near the statue. One block will reveal a hole. enter it, then bomb your way to the pipe on the bottom, then roll in it to the left. Just keep making your way to the left until you reach a green room. When you do. Jump up the platforms, then shoot the semi-final row of blocks. Jump so they respawn beneath your feet. Make your way to the door above, then go to the left to find a red door. Destroy it with Missiles, then shoot the ball for the Screw Attack. One of the deadliest items in the game. When jumping, you can do a Screw Attack, killing enemies easily. Missile Rocket #10 and #11: Go back to the earlier green room, then keep going left until you see "lava". Walk into the fake lava, then bomb the left to reveal a passage. Go down, then enter the next door. When you reach another green room with two doors on the bottom, place a Bomb near the door to the right to find another passage, then enter the next door you see. Keep going right until you find both Missile Rockets. Wave Beam: Later, you will find a small, green room with lava on the bottom. Bomb the block near the door on the left to find another passage. Go through the fake lava, then enter the door on the left. Make your way to the red door, break it open, then shoot the ball for the Wave Beam. This beam is extremely powerful, along with being able to go through structures and have a bigger range. Unfortunately, it cannot freeze enemies. Just use it for here. We'll get the Ice Beam again before leaving Norfair. Missile Tank #12: Go back to the small, green room, then keep going right (don't forget about the hidden gap in the wall) to reach the next Missile Rocket. Energy Tank #6: It takes a long time to get this one. Make your way to the first fake lava pit, then keep going right, carefully jumping on the small rocks. You will soon reach a room with fake lava again. Bomb the block near the door on the left, then make your way to the door on the bottom. Go left and into the lava pit to reach the Energy Tank. The top path is a dead end. Remember that you can only hold up to 6 Tanks. The other two will fully recover Samus' Energy. Missile Rocket #13, #14, and #15: Go back to the vertical shaft all the way on the right of Norfair, then enter the door two doors above where we got Missile Rocket #8 and #9. Just go to the left until you find three Missile Rockets. Missile Rocket #16 and #17: Exit the room with the three Missile Rockets, then get to the platform on the top-right area and shoot above to find a hidden passage. Get up it, then enter the door on the left to find two more Missile Rockets. Ice Beam (Again): From where you got the last two Missile Rockets, go into the Maru Mari form on the left to find another hidden gap. In the next room, go down to the door on the bottom, then enter it, bombing the bricks to reach the ball with the Ice Beam. You will need this for later in the game. It's too bad you can't alternate between the Wave Beam and Ice Beam. whenever you'd like to.
