Historian and author Robert Rydell examines how the world's fair has inspired and promoted innovation in architecture, the arts, science, and consumer culture. Mr. Rydell is the author of "All the World's a Fair" and teaches history at Montana State University. He spoke at the Kansas City Public Library.
