You’ll receive 6 pairs of gloves. The gloves are made of 100% nylon fabric and coated in nitrile rubber on the palms and fingertips. The glove material is pretty thin so these gloves are lightweight. The cuffs are stretchy for a skin tight fit on your wrists. The material is quite breathable on the back although the rubber does trap some heat in the fingertips and palm. The nitrile coating is flexible with only a little added stiffness to the fingers, so you still retain a good amount of dexterity for handling tools. The rubber parts are water and dirt-proof, but the back of the glove is not, so if you get liquid or fine soil on the back of the glove, it’ll pass through and get on your hands. That’s why I don’t recommend these for use when applying chemicals or cleaning with harsh solvents. However, for yard work and light gardening they seem to work fine. I wouldn’t dig around in the dirt with your finger tips, handle very thorny branches, or scoop up gravel with them because sharp edges can cut through rubber and cause pulls in the fabric on the back. But if you just want to avoid small spines on squashes and cucumbers they work well.
