Prasad Murella is an Indian film cinematographer, who works for Telugu cinema. He started his career with the film  Azhagana Naatkal directed by sundar c. in 2000.It was a Tamil film. Later he made his debut in Telugu with the film venky, directed by Srinu Vaitla in 2004, and did another film called Chanti in the same year. He went back to Tamil films in 2004 with Devathayai Kanden.

He started doing telugu films again in the year 2007, with the film Dhee. He was awarded with Nandi in 2012 for the film Namo Venkatesa, which was released in 2010. He also woked for many other films like Dookudu, Poola Rangadu, Shadow, Atharintiki Saaredhi, S/o Satyamurthy, Soukhyam and his recent movie Katamarayudu.
