Loved this track since the first time I heard it and eventually bought the album late 1977. I had Young Man dreams of dying on a street at night in an everlasting kiss with a girl named Wendy. Never happened, though there was an amazingly pretty girl named Wendy around at the time. Fantastic imagery in the lyrics which remains so fresh and powerful and alive today and which makes me wonder where all the songwriters have gone. The tech - found the track on the web and I guess it was the original from which the vocal has been removed. Took a lot of declicking and a quick re-phase in Audacity to EQ the backing track. Vocal is SM58 through Garageband with pre-set vocal EQ. Photos all from Google image search and stitched together in iPhoto. All various rights remain with their owners and no infringement thereof is intended nor assumed. I am just an ageing fanboy looking to get his vocal rocks off while he still can!
