Jamming along to a progression similar to that of A Change is Gonna Come by Sam Cooke. Love the old school soul / R&B vibe. Main progression is BbMaj - C7min - Gmin. Mixing major and minor pentatonic scales, playing inside the chords (Bb Major pentatonic scale over the BbMaj chord, C Minor pentatonic scale over the C7min chord, G Minor pentatonic scale over the Gmin chord). Playing my First Act Custom Shop Double Cut with Larry Corsa Manalishi pickups into a blackface Fender Reverb Tank into a 1966 Fender Champ (blackface). Playing in the middle position, so the pickups are out-of-phase. Follow me on Facebook and Instagram @doesitdoom and join the stoner doom community @itdooms to submit your own rigs and riffs!
