Rinpoche explained a teaching he had received from Geshe Sopa Rinpoche on the 12 links. Buddha said that if you can understand dependent arising, then you can see the holy dharma, emptiness. In regards to the 12 links in brief - karma is like the field, consciousness, until rebirth is ripened holds the seed and the potential - bad and good. Then there is rebirth, then craving and grasping. Because of ignorance there is karmic formations, then consciousness, because of condition then name and form happened, then 6 senses, then because of that contact feeling happened, craving, grasping, birth, old age and death. Rinpoche then explained about the drawing of the wheel of life. Rinpoche then gave oral transmission of chanting the names of the 35 Buddhas and the benefits, Medicine Buddha names and Vajrasattva.
