Alex speaks over 10 languages and lives in London - but why isn't he volunteering for the Olympics? Hear it from the man himself. Please note: this is not a work of fiction, more of a vlog for me to tell my story in my own words. Everything that I have talked about in the video is 100% true - yes I was indeed treated this badly by LOCOG and I simply had to share the story with you but there was really only one way to tell my story! Having already done a similar video (look up my other video Welsh+14 http://youtu.be/jNuOo8J4CjE ) - this is following the same style but using 20 languages instead of 15. OK I know there were some mistakes in the Welsh, German, Mandarin, Russian and Spanish in the video - but this was shot in a hurry, on a very tight schedule on virtually no budget so before you wanna bitch about "oh you made a mistake in that language" - ask yourself this: how many freaking languages do you speak? I never claimed to be fluent in 20 languages but I believe in communicating in a language even if you're not fluent and not being afraid to try even if it means making a couple of mistakes on the way. I am a former national champion in Singapore (1993, 1996 and 1997) and I moved to the UK in 1997. This video was shot in my flat in central London.
