New Haven High School physics students took part in the 19th Cardboard Classic Competition at New Haven's Jury Pool on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018. Students had to build a boat large enough to support themselves as they went through an obstacle course in the pool - and it could only be made out of cardboard and adhesive. Students got only one try to row across without sinking. The event is a launching point into physics lesson plans for the school year.
