I just had to share my little firefly moment because I very rarely see them anymore where I live. I can imagine after years of mosquito trucks cruising around and cropdusters flying around, I would leave, too. I just love fireflies and of course, the moon...I had to drive almost fifty miles into the Blackwater State Forest and beyond to see maybe five fireflies this night..I took a walk into the woods to capture the night sounds of the cicadas and no telling what else..lol...hoping that maybe, just maybe one would show up..I was just about to give up, when suddenly, and, I know the gift was from God, this little guy made a wonderful debut for me...I was very excited..and, for me it is the simple pleasures that continue to be my greatest joys.. ...I know this is silly, but when I was a little girl, and, I would go to my grandmothers house in Kentucky..they were so thick there..just illuminated her beautiful place..but, I thought if I caught one..it would leave a little blister on my hand..weird, huh..but, it would leave some shiny stuff on my hand...neat memory..thanks for watching and sharing your kid moment with me..
