A little more footage of Scud Race gameplay on the newest version of MAME. The Frame rate is a tiny bit faster on this than the old (MAME 0.117) version I'd previously uploaded - it's now running at closer to 8 fps rather than 6, and in the demo mode it even gets up to the giddy speeds of 12 fps at times (whoo!). This seems to be at the expense of some of the background detail (and I've tried another romset, which is exactly the same - but I think it's a fair trade off if it means more speed). I think the anti-aliasing on the cars looks a bit better in this version as well, but that could just be my imagination.
