I got scuba certified in Hawaii! This vlog is a tad late (it was filmed a month ago, whoops!), but some of the video I got while I was scuba diving and snorkeling was so cool!
The first spot we went to was Molokini (in Maui) and we were diving 60 feet deep! The visibility was AMAZING (100+ feet) and the water was SO blue! Our instructor (with the pink flippers) saw a reef shark, but unfortunately it darted out of view before we could see it (he's probably camera shy).
I also included video from when we went to the other dive site (five graves) and we saw a GIANT turtle! Funny enough, we saw at least 10+ turtles when we were out snorkeling, and hardly any when we were diving.
The course was jam packed into a few days, but I learned so much! If you're interested (even slightly) in getting scuba certified I would highly recommend it! It was such an amazing experience and I can't wait to dive more in the future!
