Container Train meets Furious Patna-Vasco Express

October 2012. Train: Loaded container train, 12742 Patna[PNBE] - Vasco da Gama[VSG] Express. Locomotives: Kalyan[KYN] WDG3A 13496 'Shakti' + WDM3D 11382, Itarsi WDM3A 18727. Location: Suravali[SRVX]. Camera: Canon PowerShot SX20 IS. This was a very rare catch for me. A container train, which is apparently not common on Konkan Railway, rumbles past led by an uncommon loco set - a WDG3A+WDM3D combo, with both locos facing the wrong way - while the Patna - Vasco Express speeds past towards its last stop after a reversal at Madgaon. This is only the second time I have spotted a container train in over three years.
