In this part, we enter Kraid's Hideout and snag every item in it. Kraid is one of the two Mini-Bosses in this game. He is actually pretty tough. You have two options. You can either freeze his spikes, then shoot Missiles at him while they're frozen, or you can just hit him as many times as you can with Bombs. I chose the latter because it's much easier, in my opinion. These are the items obtained in this part: Missile Rocket #2: As soon as you enter the hideout, open the first red door on the right with five Missiles. Carefully jump from platform to platform to reach the Missile Rocket. Energy Tank #3: Exit the room where you got the second Missile Rocket, then go down to the next red door and open it. You may think that this wall is a dead end, but that's not the case. Shoot the block directly in front of Samus, then use a Bomb while in the Maru Mari form to get into the gap that's revealed. Make your way to the hidden area on the right to find the Tank. To reach it, you can either jump up to it from underneath it, or climb up the columns and drop down on it. Missile Rocket #3: Now, go back to where the first red door was, and enter the blue door on the left side. Make your way to the left to find another wall with a hidden passage. Use the Maru Mari form to get past it, then jump up the columns to grab the Missile Rocket. Missile Rocket #4: From where you got the third Missile Rocket, make your way to the left until you reach a vertical shaft. Keep going down the shaft, along with going through the fake liquid, then enter the door on the right. Carefully make your way to the Missile Rocket, which is placed on a column. Missile Rocket #5: You can get this one on the way to Kraid. From where you got the fourth Missile Rocket, enter the door on the right, then go up, entering the door on the left. In the small room, go left another screen, then freeze the Rippers, using them as platforms to reach the red door on the right. Open it, reach the next room, then fall, hugging the left side of the screen to land right next to a door. Blast it open, then make your way to the next Missile Rocket. Energy Tank #4: Definitely one of the tougher ones to obtain. After defeating Kraid (or while fighting him, whatever you want to do), blast one of the blocks on the bottom right of the screen near the liquid to reveal an Energy Tank. To get this one, you have to somehow manage to get into the gap in the Maru Mari form before the block respawns. To do this, stand next to the block on the right of the arena (not on the block), then use one of your Bombs to blast yourself into the gap while you're still in your Maru Mari form. It may take a few attempts, but the prize is worth it.
