Outside of marrying Johnny Russell when she was 17 (and he was 37), Beverly was quite the singer, although her own commercial success was limited, her biggest hit being 1978's #56 "Bluer Than Blue". This non-charting single from 1977 wasn't one I had heard until recently, and it's fine stuff. Enjoy!
