Starting your design on an album can be a scary thing. You may have anywhere from 12-30 blank pages sitting in front of you with no idea of where to begin. Something I found that works well to help me get started and to make me feel inspired is creating an inspiration board. It helps me stick to a cohesive look for each album I design. I don't like having my albums be over-designed or look like a bunch of different people had a hand in putting it together. Rather, I strive for a consistent look throughout to make it a beautiful, finished piece of art. Through Pinterest, I have started a Color Inspiration Board where I pin fonts, colors and pieces of design that I love. This gives me a great launch point to browse through before I start designing something of my own. We all need to find our inspiration and once we do, the rest will come together perfectly.
