This puzzle's main mechanic is that a skewer goes right through brick blocks, even if there is something inside them. However, a skewer will retract if it hits a solid block, so you can hit a brick block to turn it solid to retract the skewer early. But the hardest part of this puzzle for me was figuring out how to preserve the vine that the bomb at the beginning blows up. You need that vine to reach the red coin below the one-way gate. This was a very well designed puzzle and it seems there's only one path through the level.
