I used TM Hair Products to detangle and style my daughter's natural hair. Prior to doing her hair, she had her hair flat ironed for about a week. After that she wore the two braids going back, for two additional weeks. Her hair was matted as you see in the video,but what I also want your to notice is how shiny her hair was. The part of her hair that didn't revert back to it's natural texture stayed silky and shiny. I used the following steps to detangle her hair: Smooth thru Detangler was used to detanlge her hair. 1. How to separate the hair into small to medium sections to have some type of organization to the hair. 2. If her hair is really matted and tangled, split those sections into smaller sections. 3.Lightly mist the child's hair with water to loosen it up and make it easier to move. 4.If her hair tangles more at the root, squeeze smooth thru detangler on the root of the child hair and work it down to the ends. 5. ALWAYS work in a downward motion 6.ALWAYS start with a big/wide tooth comb when detangling. 7. Once you start to detangle ,ALWAYS start and the ends working your way up to the root. 8. Once you have completely detangled that section of hair twist/braid it to keep the hair from tangling again. Once I detangled her hair, I washed it with the twists in her hair. Then I put the Smooth Thru Detangler back in her hair as a deep conditioner, covered her hair with a conditioning cap, and sat her under the dryer for 20 minutes.Next, I blowed dried her hair. From this point if I wanted to I could have flat Ironed it, but we were going for a protective style. I separated her hair into 4 equal sections. Each section was separated into 4 sections for a total of 16 small sections. Each twist was moisturized with Perfect Assist Styling aid before being flat twisted.
